I find the length and complexity of some sci-fi novels pretty intimidating but don’t want that to hold me back from reading more books in the genre. Does anyone have any recommendations for “easier” sci-fi reads? My usual favorites are trillers and contemporary realistic fiction, but I’d love to branch out a bit.
(Being available as an audiobook would be a plus too!)

All Systems Red (Murderbot #1)
Dark Matter or Recursion by Blake Crouch
Project Hail Mary is a very easy introduction to sci Fi
The Murderbot Diaries series by Marta Wells. The first book was like 150 pages. Not sure if it’s available as an audiobook, but I would give it a read!
