Reading in Libby. It’s about twice the length ofwhat I comfortably finish in the lending period.
I was in for first 20 pages, interesting setup around a fictional composer and the researcher that’s obsessed with him. Now 20% in, and it’s repetitive – like the editor gave up. Great descriptions of music, research mysteries, or even computer research and coding, but it is followed by wondering what we’ve already wondered, or questions about the composers method or approach that was said in previous pages.
Is the journey worth it?

The part set in the past is pretty good, but the stuff in the present is just a big, repetitive whatever
