Hello friends,
I hope this message finds you all well. I am messaging out of curiosity. I have been a reader since 2016 shortly before graduate school. I am not the biggest book worm but I have been around the cover of many books. My question is this: how do you feel you remember the most about a book?
1. multiple re-reads?
2. highlighting / annotating?
3. side journal / thinking pad
I have incorporated a version of these in most of my reads.
For background, most of my reads have been nonfiction but, I have encouraged my girlfriend now turned book worm into reading and she enjoys fiction so I am engaging with that genre more.
My current reads are Thinking Fast and Slow, Loonshots, and at night before bed, Three weeks with my Brother.
I look forward to any advice and hopefully if the subreddit let’s me post, a fun discussion.
Carry on! =)
