I am reading this book called 1984 about a post apocalyptic world where government has control over the people so far I completed about two third of the book and it’s going good. I don’t know why it is taking usually longer than the previous books I read (like turtles all the way down, pyschology of money).I saw people read 1984 in a week or less. Is there any particular reading style one follows while reading books?

1984 is not a post apocolyptic world, it’s a dystopia. 2 completely different world types.
Other than reading one word at a time, one page at a time, what other “Reading” styles are there? Can you even “Stylise” reading?
I usually read left to right top to bottom
