I like the Amazon Kindle for many reasons. One of them is the opportunity to see in the reading part of the text that was chosen by other readers as a quote to memorize. While reading the Qu’ran, I found that a lot of readers like part of verse 34 in the surah An-Nisa (‘Women’): ‘If you fear high-handedness from your wives, remind them, then ignore them when you go to bed, then hit them.’ Could someone explain to me why this verse is so popular among Qu’ran readers?
