My goal is to read 50 books this year and I’m rereading a series for the third time. I’ve never logged it before on goodreads so i marked it as currently reading when i started it today. Would you still count this in your reading goal if this were you? Or not? I know it’s not a big deal but idk it’s a mental thing lol

I would! Reading a book is reading a book.
I’d count it, I have nothing against counting a book towards yearly goal if its a re-read. I just don’t re-read myself because there’s so much to read already in my TBR pile, but re-reading is still reading.
Definitely, you still read it. Unless your goal is 50 NEW books but that’s up to you.
Yes, reading is reading.
I re-read all the time, I love it.
Yes definitely because there is absolutely value in rereading a book. I guarantee you notice nuances, language, etc that you didn’t get the first time. I don’t do goodreads though.
I count books I’m rereading. I still read the book right?
I do. That’s why Goodreads has the option to count rereads.
