Hey everyone! I’m looking for a non-fiction/ memoir recommendation that feels like a unique topic to you.
I’ve read a lot of books recently that I felt had very unique subjects and really want to learn more new things…the problem is, I always stumble upon them. It’s hard to look for books about topics you’ve never heard of before if you haven’t heard of them.
Some books that I’ve read recently that inspired this search
Educated, Whatever you do, don’t run, Brain on fire, Smoke gets in your eyes, A long way gone: Memoirs of a boy soldier and Call the midwife

Cod: A Biography of the Fish that Changed the World, by Mark Kurlansky. Its about everything you ever wanted to know about, well, cod. Its well written, informative and worth a read, hopefully its a unique enough topic.
