I’m in the middle of a Brothers Karamazov reread, with the last Murderbot book on the side for when I need a break.
When the latter is finished, I thought about dipping my toes into spy fiction. I’ve seen *Slow Horses* by Mick Herron come up a few times, but then I wondered if there are genre “must reads” that I should start with. Le Carre, perhaps?
What do you think?

Besides Le Carre I’d also recommend Eric Ambler and Graham Greene.
Ian Fleming and the Bond books are quite different than the movies, and quite fun
