I liked the whole part about her having a crush on him and being around him as a cat while he didn’t know it was her. I wanna read more books and love this kind of plot for romance. Where they don’t realize who the animal/person/etc actually is and opens up/shows another side of themselves around them. I like slow burns as well. It doesn’t have to be that one having a crush turns into a cat per se of course but something vaguely along those lines (yk, secret identity sort of thing). Thanks!!

Howl’s Moving Castle has this trope and is a wonderful book.
The King’s Captive by KM Shea
[The Quintessential Quintuplets](https://kodansha.us/series/the-quintessential-quintuplets) might work for you. It’s about a guy trying to tutor quintuplet sisters. One of the things the manga shows is that he eventually marries on of them (but who we don’t know until the end), *and* he had met one of them when they were children (a fact neither they or him realize at first).
There’s also [My New Life As A Cat](https://sevenseasentertainment.com/series/my-new-life-as-a-cat/), about a guy who ends up in an accident, waking up in the body of a cat and being adopted by a cute girl.
Also, while it’s not quite what you’re looking for, I can’t stress enough how [Princess Jellyfish](https://kodansha.us/series/princess-jellyfish) is a fantastic romance manga and a must read.
