I could never sit and read, it was almost like I was reading the words with no image or imagination behind it, the slightest noise would have me focusing anywhere other than the book.
I have gone on a cruise for 2 weeks with 3 days at sea either end and thought right I’m gunna read, picked all quiet on the western front as it looked rather interesting and I hoped it was related to the Netflix movie.
So… what and amazing book, I was gripped from beginning to end, I only brought the 1 book and have found myself reading it again and now I’m flicking through reading the odd chapter here and there.
Please can anyone recommend something similar that touched them the way this book has me? There’s a huge book store and library on the ship, I’m sure I could find something there to read
