Fiction or non fiction, looking for the slice of life / personal experience writings, retellings, and/or fictionalized accounts.
Not looking for the weighty writings on *how* something happened in the wake of a natural disaster, e.g. a book about how the Fukushima nuclear accident happened. Thinking more along the style of Svetlana Alexievich’s Voices From Chernobyl (but surrounding a natural disaster event), or something like Sheri Fink’s Five Days at Memorial. Hoping for even more specific personal accounts of natural disaster stories, the location on the planet not important.
