I usually do research on books before I buy them, but I saw a fanart of Once Upon A Broken Heart and had instantly purchased the book because of how good it looked. The thing is, I heard the book series “Caraval” is related to it and many people are saying that it’s best to read the Caraval series before reading OUABH and I honestly can’t be bothered lol (which is honestly my bad😂). Yet to mention, I’m the type of person who likes having the full experience and doesn’t like missing out on references from previous books which is one of the reasons I want to read the Caraval series before OUABH (but once again I cannot be bothered LOL, but if I have to I will).
I’ve read a bit of the start of the first Caraval book, but I’m not too sure if I should carry on. What do you guys reckon…read the Caraval series before reading OUABH? Get straight into reading OUABH? Or just read book summaries of the Caraval series?
I honestly don’t mind reading the Caraval books, I just want to have other readers input before I get into it since I’m really eager to read OUABH lmao.
