Hello! I know there are already recommendation threads centered around Donna Tartt’s The Secret History— I’ve read them all!— but most recs focus on dark academia and that’s not precisely what I’m looking for (the school setting doesn’t matter to me.)
I’m more specifically looking for books with the kind of character development you see in The Secret History (that’s the part of the book I’m obsessed with.) does anyone have any recs for another well-written book with a narrator who obsessively observes/details someone or a group of people that feel interesting/real?
Just re-read The Secret History and having trouble finding a book I find quite as engaging after that (I could not put it down!) thanks so much for any suggestions!
