What’s a good high fantasy series with Dwarves as the protagonists?

Ideally as non Young Adult as possible with a rich tapestry of world building. I love the way Dwarves are portrayed in Middle Earth and I’d like to read about them in this kind of environment. Someone like R.A. Salvatore… but with mostly Dwarves. I’m so tired of reading about elves and their problems. Even better would be a length of at least a trilogy but quite a bit less than Wheel of Time. Thanks!
