I decided to try out StoryGraph after seeing lots of positive opinions about it, particularly about the recommendation system. I have around 100 books saved on there, all with ratings, but for some reason the recommendations are just… not accurate at all.
For example, the “Based on recent reads” category shows me what looks like wattpad erotica when I’ve never read anything even remotely close to that. The only decent subcategory of recommendations for me is “Similar users loved…”.
Has anyone encountered this problem? Is there a secret to improving the recommendations?
