I never really read Nonfiction, but for a class a while ago I read The Best War Ever by Michael C. C. Adams and I liked it’s presentation of our distorted memory of the Second World War. Wars are a dangerous legacy, and we shouldn’t shy away from how disturbing it truly is for what is essentially patriotic propaganda.
I was wondering if there were any other books like this, I found it very interesting. I think ww2 is a bit overused, but I wouldn’t mind more topics on it. But any other time period is very welcome too. Thanks!
