Mid to late 30s and in a massive post-pandemic rut (like just above half of reddit)….. Have read the Alchemist, a few of Herman Hesse’s books, some Irvin Yalom and the like several years ago, also have enjoyed Curios Incident of The Dog in the Night Time. Just curious if there are any fiction books that you can recommend of similar or perhaps entirely different variety that inspired you to get out of your comfort zone at this age? Thanks!

You might enjoy Stoner by John Williams.
Goldfinch by Donna Tartt could also be good.
