Hi! My husband and I are looking for books that parents can read in preparation for talking to their child more about sex and puberty. His 9-year-old is developing quickly, and we want to be able to have open, knowledgeable discussions with him about what he is going through. We are particularly looking for gender and sexuality inclusive books. Thank you in advance for any recommendations!

Not exactly about giving “the talk.” But I got a lot out of Decoding Boys, Boys & Sex, Girls & Sex.
Also, I don’t know if your area has something like this, but my area Children’s Hospital offers a “great conversations” class series that is *EXCELLENT.* I am pretty sure they have some associated books and reading anyone can access: https://greatconversations.com
The internet has lots of great resources but if you’re like me and want something paper back here is a great book.
