I grew up reading lots of books, but now that I’m past my childhood I kinda don’t know what genres I should “grow into” (I’m 15 now). I don’t like horror or gore but a lot of YA books seem to be too dark. I don’t like overly romantic books either.
I’m quite picky, I guess, but I do love reading. I love Pride and Prejudice and Little Women, and when I was young my favourites were The Penderwicks and The Vanderbeekers of 141st street. The general “vibe” that I enjoy is cozy and warm, but still not too boring of a plot, with a tad bit of romance. But I like the sort of romance that naturally unfolds, and is pure and cute.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
