A book in which the reader is the murderer (not the narrator).
Around 2000, I found an entry in a German record book from the 80s, similar to the Guinness World Records, claiming that Philip J. Hindle-Briscall, one of the “most famous” English crime writers, had extraordinary success with his work “1083, Bond Street,” as the book revealed that the reader is the murderer. Unfortunately, the whole story is just a hoax…
The story around this entry itself is a mystery, but the idea of such a book has always intrigued me, whether it could actually be possible to write such a book or not?
