She sinks her fingers into the bear’s fur―and soon realizes her darkest desire is for this large, powerful animal to be her lover.
Sounds weird and strange. A love story between a woman and a bear. Not a metaphorical love, but love. Sweaty, hairy bear love. With a human woman. I’m pretty sure that’s a crime.
Lou says, “They lived sweetly and intensely together. She knew that her flesh, her hair, her teeth, and her fingernails smelled of bear, and this smell was sweet to her.”
