Hello,
Many of us were assigned to read Homer’s Illiad and Odyssey and perhaps Plato’s Republic in school, but I would want to (re)read any of these and more with a more contemplative mindset, rather than getting through thrm to pass a test.
I’m looking for your suggestions, reasons why you feel they are important to read, and perhaps any annotated papers or publications to go along with thr reading so I gain better I sight or get past difficult language or concepts.

By classics, are you referring specifically to classical (Greco-Roman) authors, or to classic literature in general (like Shakespeare, Austen, etc.)?
