Calling all lovers of Elena Ferrante and, in particular, their Neapolitan Quartet featuring “My Brilliant Friend” as the first in the series. Apparently Elsa Morante was a massive source of inspiration and am wondering if anyone has read any of her works?

I just received “Lies & Sorcery” and am SO excited to start reading it! The poem in the dedication / frontispiece resonated so well with me that I had to copy it out to save in my book of poetry & prose quotes and general inspiration. Would love to hear anybody else’s thoughts on this book (no “spoilers” – if such a thing as a spoiler even exists in this type of literature hahaha – please!) 💙🩵
