Hi, I’m a young adult and over the past few years I have really really struggled with my depression and because of that I’ve had to undergo multiple treatments that make it very hard to read and comprehend things. My attention span is also terrible.
I’m really wanting to find a nice series to get stuck into, preferably one that isn’t too difficult to follow as my brain just isn’t quite ready for that. :,)

Some books/series I have enjoyed in the past (before my depression got bad):
    \- Harry Potter
    \- The Maze Runner
    \- Cherub (Robert Muchamore)
    \- The Hunger Games
    \- The Walking Dead

This might have a younger age demographic than what you’re looking for, but I’d suggest the Percy Jackson series as well as the follow up series, The Heroes of Olympus. I also have a short attention span, but found both series to be very compelling and charming!

    2. Some of my favorite books, I have ADD and have a hard time following stories as well. you can read the hobbit by JRR Tolkien. Easy read but great imo.

You might also like the divergent series. Although I will warn you they don’t end it very well, but the first one was very good.

If you don’t mind reading a Middlegrade the ‘Nevermoor’ series by Jessica Townsend is really cute and gives off a similar magic vibe to Harry Potter.

Try Witching Souls: Fire and Air by Maeve Lindley!

      It’s an e-book that’s completed recently.

Oh you would LOVE A court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Mass if you loved these books. Don’t even read what it’s about just go for it. Trust!
