My five star read of last year was Thistlefoot by Genna Rose Nethercott. I’m looking for another book that will blow my mind. Fiction or non fiction. Any genre. Just want to know what your five star read of 2023(or even 2024) is.

I really enjoyed reading *Empire of the Summer Moon: Quanah Parker and the Rise and Fall of the Comanches, the Most Powerful Indian Tribe in American History* by S. C. Gwynne. *Homage to Catalonia* by George Orwell was also very good. I finished both of those before Christmas.
not sure if you’re down for YA but i just binge-read the inheritance games series, currently waiting for the 4th book to become available at my library! i also read the starless sea by erin morganstern and absolutely loved it, its a book that i think about a lot after reading it!
And Then She Fell by Alicia Elliott. It was the first book I read all year and may be the best.
Kitty Cat Kill Sat by Argus.
It felt like playing through Mass Effect trilogy once again.
“The Last House on the Street” by Diane Chamberlain
I read all 340 pages in one night. It was amazing.
