Hey everyone, I’m looking for recommendations for some books set in fantasy realms where the plot involves some kind of mystery. Preferably Adult but Young Adult or New Adult could be fine too. Bonus if it also includes any or all of the following: Romance, regicide, rebellion, political intrigue, and of course magic. Spice is not an issue.

The first two books, **The Name of the Wind** and **The Wise Man’s Fear,** were released in 2007 and 2011.
Caveat: we’re still waiting for book 3
A LOT of paranormal or urban fantasy books are mystery plots.
I love Soulless, Melissa Olson’s boundary world (there’s two series in the same world), Mercy Thompson books, Jane Yellowrock books and of course Illona Andrews.
