My wife is an avid reader and I am looking to get her 2-4 books for Valentines Day, but I am at somewhat of a loss. She likes romance and some mystery, anything with dogs and the outdoors is a plus. But I am a terrible judge of quality, they all seem like Hallmark movies to me when she describes them. I think she prefers reading books PG-13 to R (again I am a terrible judge of these things). One of her favorite authors is Elin Hildebrand if that helps. Since it is Valentines Day I was hoping to find her something that leans into the romance portion if that makes any sense.
