So I’m fairly new to reading books, but lately I have been enjoying this genre of books where I’m reading and I do not really know what the overalls story is about. Examples: 1984, animal farm, kite runner and A thousand splendid Suns. All of these have main characters but when reading you don’t really know where the story is heading to, which I love!
Are there any more books that you can suggest such as these? I don’t care if they’re fiction, thriller, crime or just plain novels.

It’s a little left field based on your read books, but you may enjoy Metro 2033 by Dmitry Glukhovsky. It should keep you entertained on a mysterious journey.
A Country of Ghosts by Margaret Killjoy
This one might be *too* much of an unknown, but The Unconsoled by Kazuo Ishiguro. If that book is too much, you may like Never Let Me Go or Klara and the Sun by the same author.
