Looking for some books about dinosaurs where they are the monsters posing a threat to some human protagonists.
Dont care if it’s time travel, cloning, alien planet with dinos somehow, multiverse, alternate history.
Just looking for a good survival possibly horror story about humans having to survive against dinosaurs.
Just not anything where humans coexisting with dinosaurs and using them as tools of war, pets, or anything like that.

The Kaiju Preservation Society by John Scalzi
I would recommend The Lost World by Arthur Conan Doyle. Yes he is much more well known for his Sherlock Holmes stories, but this one written in 1912 details a crew stumbling upon an island littered with dinosaurs. Its not that much horror, more so one of the first novels written within the theme your looking for. I read it a few years back and enjoyed it.
