Recently, I started reading “How to Read Literature like a Professor” by Thomas Foster, and I absolutely love it. I decided to buy some of Shakespeare’s plays that I either did not read or did not understand on my initial read. I want to be able to recognize and appreciate things that I didn’t see before when I initially read through plays like Hamlet and Macbeth.
Could someone suggest me a book that would teach me how to get better at analyzing Shakespeare’s works? It doesn’t have to be about Shakespeare only, as I would like to branch out to harder plays, like Faust, at some point.
Thanks!
