I was reading a review of Norwegian Wood and the reviewer stated, “If this book were a movie, it would be rated R… because some of the characters do some sexy stuff, and to be honest, I was not expecting that.”. However, I asked ChatGPT and Mr. ChatGPT stated that this is untrue, that his books do not contain any profanity. The question is, is the reviewer correct, or ChatGPT?
Secondly, I would like to read this author but I do not like curse words or “sexy stuff”. I would be looking for something more wholesome. Does Marukami have such a book? Looking for something that would be okay for a young adult without profanity or as little as possible. Thank you.
