I just got back into reading after 1627737 years. English isn’t my first language so please suggest me books that are easy to read, short and happy endings. Children books are fine. Something like The Fairy Rebel, I read it last week and I really liked it. Thank you!

The Penderwicks series by Jeanne Birdsall is my favorite children’s books series
Perestroika in Paris by Jane Smiley; the main characters are all animals and it’s really cute.
Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi is good and really short; it’s a series, but I’ve only read the first one. When the characters go to a coffee shop they have a few minutes to see the past.
