So I know that I’m doing this completely backwards, and that this forum is supposed to be about me asking you all about awesome recommendations, but I read this book that struck me to the soul, and I want to share it.
Tigerman, by Nick Harkaway, is gorgeous. It’s like Catch 22 and Superman had a baby, and that baby was, by turns, hillarious and tragic. I haven’t felt this strongly while reading a book in ages.
I love reading fluff, but I teach literature, and I genuinely believe that this book is literature. But fluffy. Sometimes you can have your cake and eat it too.
