I say pre-American America, because I’m looking for more colonial stories – not sad ones though, if I can avoid anything about Gnudenhatten or the plight of the Khipu, because that… I’m not looking to cry. I already have an excellent collection of indigenous stories, as well.
Just fun Colonial stories. If they exist. NOT Zorro, I already have that one. I also already have the Leatherstocking Tales and Last of the Mohicans. But books from these era, with similar vibes, and maybe more modern language?
