I’ve never been much of a history fan growing up, but recently I’ve decided that since it’s a new year it might be fun to broaden my horizons and check out some new genres (also a good friend of mine likes history a lot, and it would be nice if we had a shared topic to talk about). I think plague doctors from what I’ve seen online look very cool and I’d love to be able to learn more about them, and it might get me hooked into trying more history-based books. Are there any good historical fictional / nonfictional books about plague doctors?
