specifically in that they, like, describe a culture as much as they tell a story, if not more so. like reading a really good wikipedia article, lots of interludes and asides about how these people live and what they believe etc. ursula k. le guin has tons of these over a few different books but i am running out of books by her to read and want to branch out anyway considering like 60% of my current reading kick has just been devouring her work. thank you!
