I have been enjoying science fiction and futuristic stories quite a lot lately. “The Terraformers” by Annalee Newitz in particular was very enjoyable to me… However, its story imagines a far future in which capitalism persists, and I can’t shake off the depressive feeling of imagining capitalism as the peak human society organization. Recently I watched the youtube video (Andrewism) “Why We Need a Library Economy“, and I have been craving to “experience” such society, hence my desire to read a book that is creative enough to imagine fairer economic and society systems than we have nowadays. Any suggestions?
