I wanted to share my thoughts on this book and I did not know where should I go and talk about it until I stumbled upon this thread page.
**Title: The Silent Patient**
**Genre: Thriller, Psychology**
**1st book of 2024**
So, I was going through this book in a bookstore and the initial description caught my eye, as I am an avid reader of the thriller genre I was enthralled by the description. I would highly suggest this book as it keeps the reader on their toes to know what is coming next and what could happen. It makes you travel through different episodes of the protagonist or I would say antagonist ( I can assure you you will get confused as and when you start reading it). it starts with some mild essence of the story buildup that how a painting artist Alicia gets accused of killing her husband and goes under psychotherapy where she refuses to speak and refuses to speak about what has happened and why it happened. Furthermore, as you start reading and try to understand what has happened with Alicia you will encounter n number of flabergasting episodes of the past and how they connect to reality.
Theo Faber one of the skilled psychotherapists takes the case of Alicia and tries to bring her back to life, who plays a key role in this story and will leave in awe. This book will confuse you with the events and play with your mind till the end.

Also, personally, it gave me a lot of moral learning one of which is ***”We should never take actions that can lead to unrequired actions until we know what has happened with the person in the past, Our***
***childhood memories are a delicate instrument which molds our future.”***
