When reading the book, this was the overall impression I was left with on numerous occasions. Am I misreading, or have other people thought this as well? She seems like she doesn’t pick up on social cues. She doesn’t feel swayed by emotions. She is very logic driven. She said she was much more comfortable with her ex boyfriend who always said “I’m going to kiss you now.” “I’m going to stop listening now.” “I’m going to walk away now.” Etc etc. just the impression I got. Anyone else?
