I was reading non stop, but now I feel like I’m in a reading slump, even though I want to pick up a book and continue it/start it I just can’t and it’s frustrating me. Maybe the books I’ve been reading make it harder to stop it since they’re mostly non-fictional/theory, I tried starting “Chronicles of Narnia” to ease things but it’s hard for me to get attached to fantasy.

So, I think anything short and page-turner that I don’t need to think much with (like theory) and just enjoy could help me end it, any recommendations? A good example of one as I described that I liked is “Animal Farm”, but I think a romance, like “Veronika Decides to Die” and “The Picture of Dorian Gray”, could be great as well! Don’t need to be similar to the ones mentioned but to give an idea of what I normally enjoy! Any recommendations are appreciated! 🙂

Not sure if this is up your alley and I’ll preface it by saying it’s not usually mine, but I kept seeing the Murderbot Diaries recommended over and over and took the plunge. I’ve become seriously obsessed with them, they’re short, fun and really well done!

Radicalized: Four Tales of our Present Moment by Cory Doctorow is a good one, it’s four novellas in one collection. Near future type stuff like Black Mirror (he was supposed to do a story for the now cancelled Black Mirror anthology book)

Holes by Louis Sachar! It’s my go to rec for people looking for a quick really engaging read!
