I read it sometime ago so I don’t remember the details but I do remember how it made me feel and think at the time. I usually don’t care for the cover of a book but I was captivated by this one. I do wonder if it was in fact written for young teens.
I felt the book made mistakes particularly in a certain chapter where the protagonist is leaving her home to meet friends. Mistakes such as when it was night and day and where certain groups of people were standing, mistakes like this can make me turn off from a book rapidly. I also found all the characters unlikeable and it lacked reasoning for any of the decisions any of them made or chose to cope with the situation. Lastly, I felt the book was talking but failing to say anything and by the end I didn’t really get what had happened or why, I searched for at least a moral but found nothing. Ultimately, I had to force myself to finish it.
