It came highly recommended to me on a date a while back. I couldn’t get through it (the book, not the date LOL). I felt like I kept re-reading the same chapter, with all the drinking and fighting etc but I wasn’t. It also seemed like the story didn’t really advance much, even though there was lots of action. I did not finish the book. Did I miss something?
