Hey there, I’m in the middle of writing my own thing, for fun, but I feel like I need more inspiration. I’m specifically looking for books that have a screenplay kind of vibe, with detailed descriptions and strong “show don’t tell”. I’d also prefer something with a realistic setting, but I’m not super into crime narratives at the moment. I’d love a drama with a lot of personal struggle and dealing with internal feelings and thoughts. I would appreciate it if anyone could think of something. Also, feel free to let me know if you have been inspired to write by a particular book.
