Looking for something dense/meaty with world building/complexity that eventually wraps up with few to no loose ends.
Favorite genres: Mystery/thriller, sci-fi, dystopian future. Also be open to fantasy.
Previous things I’ve enjoyed: The Passage (trilogy) by Justin Cronin, The Dark Tower series by Stephen King

Hyperion, Fall of Hyperion, Endymion, Rise of Endymion – Dan Simmons (Currently shelved right by my Passage trilogy, actually)
The kingsbridge series by Ken follet. I recommend these books to everyone. Amazing.
The Wheel of Time I think have some of the best worldbuilding fantasy, if not the best. And for a 14 book series, the last book and its ending I think perfectly wraps up all that was built up.
The Expanse series of books has what you are looking for.
