Disclaimer that I’m still reading (like 4% in) but Penance by Eliza Clark seems like it will be this kind of a novel.
Haunted by Chuck palahniuk. It’s not a very good book IMO but it is fucked up

Earthlings by Sayaka Murata. I read it blind (cover is “cute”) and came out a bit traumatised tbh.
