I’m typically a straight thriller book girlie but want to expand my library a little more this year.
I definitely prefer fiction over non-fiction but I’m open to anything.
Looking for anything really.
I’ve read a few romances. I’ve never read fantasy but I’m open to it. I’ve never read horror cause I’m a little chicken so maybe something a little softer 😂

Clytemnestra by Costanza Casati. It’s about the Greek mythological figure Clytemnestra/her life during the Trojan war. One of my favorite books I read last year
I would recommend Slow Horses by Mick Herron. It’s about MI5 but not your typical spy story.
The other books I really enjoyed recently was Imperium by Robert Harris and a sequel called Lustrum. They are set in Ancient Rome. The main character is Cicero. You don’t need to know anything about Rome before you read it. It’s about politics and all the back room deals. Some really interesting characters and courtroom scenes.
Sounds dry but really isn’t!
