Most of the time, I prefer to read at my own pace and in my personal space. However, a few years ago, I was part of a cozy buddy reading group. Our little gang consisted of just four people, all sharing a love for the same books. Most of our discussions felt more like enthusiastic fan sessions than deep dives into literary analysis, and you know what? It was an absolute blast. We even took the extra step of writing reviews and exchanging them.
I’m genuinely curious—what’s your experience with book clubs? Are they often more laid-back and focused on the sheer enjoyment of shared reads, or have you encountered more serious literary analysis in these groups? Have you ever been part of a book club, or is it on your literary bucket list for the future?
