I just finished this book today and I’m confused by the ending.
>!I believe that the journal entries are written by Isabelle, as she mentions her drawing was hung on the fridge, which made Anna angry and break her drawing pencils. David said Isabelle was the one that liked to draw and it was her drawing on the fridge. But when Elle’s mom comes down in the last chapter, she says she’s not Isabelle because of what was written in the journals. So… who did Charlie actually bury?!<
