Hi, here’s a question for anyone that’s read Project Hail Mary.
I read it a few months ago and I enjoyed it and didn’t think much of it again unless someone brings it up in conversation or in a post on here. When it’s mentioned I’ve noticed that it’s often said that it’s structured like a film or it’s it’s structured in a way which would make the transition to film easier. To my surprise it is actually being made into a film so it seems those observations were apt.
So my questions is, as someone who’s just recently got big into reading with only a few books under my belt and not much to compare with – what do you think are the structural and narrative characteristics that make Project Hail Mary read like a film, as some people people put it?
Thanks!
