He writes like a drill. There’ll be a 4 line paragraph made up of like 6-8 short sentences. I just can’t do it, it’s actually so difficult to read the way he writes things. I’m not sure if it’s a translation issue or maybe it flows better in Japanese but it’s mentally exhausting to read so many short sentences at once and I have to put the book down after 10 minutes. I’ve had it for about 3 months now and I’m not even halfway. Not to mention how one chapter will be 3 pages and then the next chapter will be 20. I usually don’t drop books unless they’re excruciatingly bad but I am so close to giving up
